Qiu Lian Ban Mian 秋莲版面, T3 Basement 2 Food Court – 2nd Visit

Qiu Lian handmade noodles 秋莲版面is still the best..

This time, we ordered handmade flat noodle (Ban Mian - 版面) and Ah Ma Mee Hoon Kueh (阿嬤面粉果).

1. Ban Mian (版面) – 7/10
The noodles were boarder and the strips were regular. It is not exactly true that it was handmade. It could be made using hand-operated machine or pre-made in a factory before they were delivered to the stalls.

This bowl was without minced pork. This soup base without the minced pork did not taste as good as the original one with minced pork added. The latter was more flavourful than the former.

2. Ah Ma Mee Hoon Kueh (阿嬤面粉果) – 8/10
This special bowl consisted of Mee Hoon and handmade Mee Hoon Kuehs. Can you see the thick, yellowish and irregular shape of the Mee Hoon Kuehs? This could be handmade. The starch dough was added with some kind of minced vegetable or herbs before they were shaped into small pieces of kuehs.

This was our after meal dessert - Ice Red Bean and Sweet Corn with Evaporated Milk. It was very sweet and yummy.
