We had dinner at this new small Japanese eatery at Bukit Panjang Plaza few days ago.

The condiments

Our orders were:
1. Special Miso Ramen $13.90 – 6/10
The Miso soup based was sweet and mild salty. The Ramen was very “Q” – springy.

The egg white was supposed to be spongy and soft but I found it a bit tough on the outside but the egg yolk was still running. I do not fancy the egg although a whole egg was served instead of the usual half.

2. Assari Miso Set $13.70 – 6/10 (overall)
This set consisted of a mini Assari Ramen and a mini Donburi. I chose Assari Miso Ramen and Una Tama Don.
a) Assari Miso Ramen – 5/10
Assari refers to lighter flavour. The soup based was more salty than the Special Miso Ramen soup based.

b) Una Tama Don – 7/10
The Unagi was so-so. The scrambled egg was still runny and the onions were fragrant. The teriyaki sauce was also just nice to my liking.

Total bill came up to $34.80.

Overall Verdict: 6/10
This place will be my secondary choice as I am not a Ramen lover and also because of its Carbohydrates content.
