This was my 3rd time visiting the same Pump Room at Great World City within seven days. This time was different. We have a total of 10 people – a family of four (parents and two young sisters), a couple from KL and four friends. Well, I would say the ambience was good for friends or families gathering and chilled out, nibbles were good and beers were cheap too.
Look at the sweet smiles from the two pretty young sisters below – Judy (left) and Juying (right). They are the only kids in our gathering. With their presence and laughter, it did make a difference.
I am not repeating the food which I have already commented in my previous two posts. Also, I did not manage to snap a picture of the guests’ food too. Too embarrass to do it in front of them. Haha!
Here are the new items:
1. Kid’s meal – Mini Chicken Burger & Chips
The Chicken Burger may be mini but its size still seemed too big for Judy.
2. Kid’s meal – Fish Fingers & Chips (2 combined sets) – 9/10
Actually, the adults are not allowed to order the kid’s meal which costs $10 only. We have to order 2 sets to make it become an adult’s main course. The Fish Finger was really good. Fish was fresh and not fishy. We ever had this at the Clarke Quay outlet few months ago. They had fish fingers as snackers in their food menu. I do not understand why the Great World City outlet has a different menu from theirs.
3. Spicy Hot Wings served with Thai Chilli – 7/10
The wings were good and juicy.
I will still recommend The Pump Room for gatherings and chilled out.
